With One Loaf

Some students at Grey Lynn School are attempting a seemingly impossible feat – to turn a loaf of bread into a house!

They started with a single loaf of bread and swapped it for a couple of DVD’s, then they swapped those for some Nintendo Wii games then swapped those for a toilet and then… well you get the picture. Before long they had a sleep out which is currently being auctioned on Trade me with the proceeds from the sale going to help those effected by the Nepal earthquake.

If you’d like to learn more about this fantastic project you can hear all about it on Seven Sharp this evening or access the project blog through this link. http://withoneloaf.blogspot.co.nz/

Or even check out the Trade me auction here. http://www.trademe.co.nz/building-renovation/portable-buildings/auction-894222789.htm

It’s really amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!
